Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nguyet, Vice President of the Thang Binh District Women's Union, stated that recognizing mass mobilization work as an important task, consistent with the characteristics of the women and the functions of the Union, the Thang Binh District Women's Union has developed and implemented "Effective Mass Mobilization" models with specific and practical approaches.

As a model example in the "Effective Mass Mobilization" emulation movement, the "Godmother" program has been enthusiastically embraced by Women's Union branches at all levels in Thang Binh district; supported by female cadres, members, and philanthropists. To date, the Thang Binh District Women's Union has mobilized and connected with 320 orphaned children and those in difficult circumstances to provide sponsorship, with financial support ranging from 300,000 VND to 2,000,000 VND per child per month.

In addition, on the occasion of the new school year, the Women's Union of the district organized the "Supporting Children to School" program, donating bicycles and traditional dresses, rewarding students with excellent academic achievements, and visiting and giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)... Through this, it helps students have the opportunity to continue attending school.

Along with the "Godmother" program, the Thang Binh District Women's Union has also launched and replicated exemplary "People's Mobilization" models in the field of economic development, such as the "Supporting Women's Economic Development" model, the "Vietnamese Makeup Service Group" (in Binh Duong commune), the "Supporting Women in Finding Employment" model (Binh Nam commune), the "Supporting Women in Developing the Economy of Solanum torvum Medicinal Plants" model (Binh Dinh Nam commune), and the "Linking with Households Growing Melaleuca Trees" model (Binh Sa commune)... Participating in these models, women members are equipped with knowledge in production and business and access to resources for economic development. Annually, these models have helped 44 households escape poverty and near-poverty sustainably.

“With many innovative approaches, the ‘Effective Mass Mobilization’ models developed by the Women's Union of the district have affirmed the important role of women in helping disadvantaged children attend school; participating in economic development and poverty reduction. This confirms that the role of women is not limited to caring for family happiness but also extends to spreading positive values ​​to the community and society,” said Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nguyet.

Expanding the model of "Effective mass mobilization"

Mr. Phan Thanh Van, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Thang Binh District Party Committee, said that the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement has been implemented in the district through various forms such as competitions, performances, and seminars. The content of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement has been integrated into the lectures of training courses on mass mobilization work for officials in agencies, departments, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations from the district to the grassroots level. Through this, the understanding of the role, significance, and importance of mass mobilization work has been enhanced; the responsibility of all sectors, levels, officials, Party members, and the people has undergone positive changes, contributing to the movement's integration into daily life and its increasingly strong and widespread development.

To date, Thang Binh district has 297 effective "People's Mobilization" models operating in various fields. These include 61 models in the economic sector, 154 in the cultural and social sector, 67 in the national defense and security sector, and 15 in the political system building sector. Many models have become integrated into social life and have become a general movement throughout the political system, receiving widespread support from all segments of the population.

Accordingly, in the economic field, there are models such as: "Women of Huong Village excelling in economic activities" (Ha Lam town), "Raising civets and eels" (Binh Que commune), "Raising goats" (Binh Phu commune); in the cultural and social field, there are models such as: "Collecting scrap to raise funds to help poor and disadvantaged women and children" (Binh Duong commune), "Charity classes" (Binh Minh commune); in the defense and security field, there are models such as: "Adopted children of border guard posts" (Binh Minh commune), "Security loudspeaker announcements" (Binh Dao commune)...

“Going forward, the Thang Binh District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department will continue to launch the registration and development of model examples of 'Skilled Mass Mobilization' that are suitable to the actual situation in the locality, agency, and unit. At the same time, we will widely publicize the meaning, purpose, role, and effectiveness of the 'Skilled Mass Mobilization' emulation movement through mass media to create a stronger transformation in awareness and action among cadres, Party members, union members, association members, and the people to participate in implementing the movement,” said Mr. Phan Thanh Van.
