On November 6, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong Tran Thi Hoang Mai said that from November 5, images of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago were officially broadcast on the famous American television channel CNN with billions of viewers worldwide and is a news provider for hundreds of radio and television stations worldwide.

Cat Ba archipelago along with Ha Long Bay is recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage.

The 30-second video with beautiful, unique and impressive images describes the most general global values ​​of Cat Ba archipelago ( Hai Phong city) - which, along with Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh province), has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage.

These impressive images were broadcast on CNN Asia (Northeast Asia, Asia-Pacific, South Asia) in various programs (The Lead, First Move, CNN News room...) with 3 broadcasts/day, starting from November 5 and continuously until December 2, 2024.

These are the efforts of the Department of Culture and Sports and related sectors of Hai Phong city in implementing Plan No. 166/KH-UBND dated July 19, 2024 of the People's Committee of Hai Phong city on communicating the value of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago in 2024 and 2025.

Along with that, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong has coordinated with media agencies to carry out many communication activities about the World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago on channels of Vietnam Television (VTV1, VTV3); Hai Phong Radio and Television (THP); on social networks; Heritage magazine, etc.
