Spreading Vietnamese cuisine at Brunei Darussalam New Year Festival

Hari Raya Festival - Brunei Darussalam's traditional New Year was solemnly held at the Brunei Darussalam International Convention Center on April 19.

The festival was attended by Brunei's Foreign Minister II Dato Erywan and more than 1,000 local and international guests.

The event is organized annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei, aiming to create opportunities for diplomatic missions in Brunei to introduce their country’s culture, especially traditional cuisine, to local and international friends. This year, nearly 20 foreign missions participated with diverse and distinctive booths.

The booth of the Vietnamese Embassy in Brunei Darussalam attracted great attention from international friends and Brunei people.

Traditional dishes such as pho and fried spring rolls prepared by Yi's Nation Vietnamese restaurant are loved and highly appreciated by many visitors.

Within the framework of the program, the organizers also screened a video congratulating Hari Raya made by representative agencies in Brunei and Brunei Embassies around the world , contributing to creating an atmosphere of solidarity, friendship and rich cultural identity.
