Famous singer Cam Van released the LP album "Tramful Roll" including the song of the same name and the songs: What Age Is Left For Me, Like Flying Herons, Mother's Folk Songs, Missing Love, Lullaby for Us, Where Are the Waves Going, and The Old Man and the Baby on the occasion of commemorating the 24th anniversary of musician Trinh Cong Son's passing.
She sang two duets , Ca dao me and Vet luan tram , with her daughter - singer CeCe Truong.
Having sung Trinh's music for more than 40 years, Cam Van adjusted most of her familiar singing style in the new vinyl record, specifically the jazz style recorded live with the band.
The album was composed and performed by musician Nguyen Cong Phuong Nam - currently working at the German Army Jazz Orchestra - with piano playing. The style leans towards rustic acoustic from the instruments to the vocals.

Recorded in the USA with native, German and Vietnamese artists; recorded, mixed, mastered and produced on vinyl to the highest standards.
At the event, Cam Van shared interesting behind-the-scenes stories. After finishing the recording, she returned to Vietnam and received advice from Trinh Vinh Trinh on her pronunciation of the word "co ro" in the song "Nguoi gia va em be" (Old Man and Baby) .
"Trinh suggested that I sing 'co ro' instead of 'co gio'. I immediately told the studio to stop post-production and flew to the US to re-record the song," the famous singer said.

Listening to the album again, Cam Van felt emotional and satisfied when she sang Trinh's music differently than she had in the past 40 years. She sang "Where Are the Waves Going" during her visit to musician Trinh Cong Son in the last days of his life in a powerful, stirring way, but the version of "Where Are the Waves Going" by Cam Van at the age of 66 was relaxed and light.
The event gathered many famous artists: saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan, singer Dam Vinh Hung, singer Duong Trieu Vu, photographer Le Thanh Hai, singer Trinh Vinh Trinh...
Dam Vinh Hung's appearance amidst the noisy lawsuit attracted attention. He received the vinyl from Cam Van, continuously called it a "masterpiece" and gave many sweet words to his senior.
"The first time I heard Ms. Van sing Trinh's music was the song "Quietly here" around 1987-1988. I was always impressed by how good the song was and how good the singer was. She is always a famous singer in my heart. The vinyl record was the motivation for me to complete the product I had left unfinished for so long," he shared.
