NDO - VINASA will apply the VINASA Tech Map methodology to help position businesses on the Digital Technology "map".
On February 26, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) held a press conference to announce the Top 10 Program and the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map 2025 with many important innovations.
The 2025 program not only continues to honor outstanding digital technology enterprises but also launches for the first time the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map - an important tool to help position enterprises in the market, improve competitiveness, and expand domestic and international cooperation opportunities.
On December 22, 2024, the Politburo issued Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, aiming to make Vietnam a leading innovative country in the region by 2035. Among them, there are a number of notable support policies: Tax and credit incentives for businesses investing in innovation; Liability exemption mechanism in testing new technologies; Creating conditions for businesses to access international markets through specialized trade promotion programs.
With the push for investment in new technologies (AI, big data, blockchain, etc.), green technology, and business support policies under Resolution 57, Vietnam's ICT industry is expected to continue to grow strongly, aiming to reach VND 4,320,000 billion in revenue by 2025, contributing more than 12% of GDP and increasing the proportion of Vietnamese value in the industry from 32% to 50% by 2030.
In that context, VINASA aims to implement the Top 10 Digital Technology Enterprises Program to develop together, perfecting the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map each year, as a foundation for authentication and trust, helping businesses better take advantage of these opportunities.
Mr. An Ngoc Thao, Deputy General Secretary of VINASA, said that from 2025, VINASA will apply the VINASA Tech Map methodology to help position businesses on the digital technology "map".
The main activities of VINASA Tech Map include: Positioning businesses in the technology ecosystem, improving competitiveness; Connecting with investment networks and innovation support funds; Participating in trade promotion activities, expanding international markets.

In addition, VINASA will promote promotional, connecting and trade promotion activities for businesses participating in the program, including: Specialized publications in Vietnamese-English-Japanese, distributed to 5,000 domestic and foreign organizations; Seminars and talkshows, creating conditions for businesses to introduce solutions and share experiences; Business Matching & Networking - connecting businesses with potential domestic and international partners; Participating in major technology events such as Vietnam DX Summit, Japan ICT Day, Smart City Summit...
Starting from 2025, VINASA Tech Map applies an evaluation model based on two main axes:
Vision: Demonstrates future development direction and innovation capabilities, including: Long-term development strategy, innovation capacity, market expansion capability and impact on the digital technology industry.
Implementation capability : Assess the level of implementation and application of products and services in practice, including: Business growth (revenue, market share, number of customers), product/service quality, implementation capacity and customer satisfaction.
Based on the two axes of vision and execution, enterprises are divided into 4 groups: Strength Group: Enterprises with strong implementation capacity, focusing on practical efficiency. Leading Group : Enterprises leading the market, having both long-term vision and good execution capacity. Specialized Group : Enterprises with strengths in specific fields, developing in a specialized direction. Exploration Group : Innovative enterprises, focusing on new technology but execution capacity is still developing.
Through these criteria, the Map will provide comprehensive data on Vietnam's digital technology business ecosystem, classified by field, scale, innovation capacity and development potential.
The organizers expect that this evaluation system will help businesses determine their position in each specialized field as well as on the digital technology map of Vietnam, thereby building and implementing strategic plans to strengthen potential, increase competitiveness, and move towards sustainable development.
On the management side, there will also be more scientific data to support policy planning.
For international investors and partners, this is also the basis for approaching potential businesses in Vietnam more quickly and accurately.
In the future, this Map will be more complete, fully and comprehensively reflecting businesses in many different segments, not just limited to the Top 10.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, Vice President and General Secretary of VINASA said: "Vietnam is entering a period of strong development of digital technology, in which innovation is the key to making a difference. The launch of the Vietnam Digital Technology Enterprise Map not only helps businesses position their capabilities but also creates a foundation to expand cooperation, attract investment and access new markets.
This is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese technology business community to affirm its mark on the global technology map. The Top 10 Program and the Vietnam Digital Technology Business Map 2025 are an important milestone in promoting the development of the digital technology industry."
"We expect that with a comprehensive assessment method and support from innovation policies, Vietnamese digital technology enterprises will have more opportunities to break through and affirm their position in the domestic and international markets," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang.
