Accordingly, Eximbank will hold the 2024 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on November 28, 2024. Notably, for the first time in the history of this bank, the AGM will be held in Hanoi, instead of taking place in Ho Chi Minh City as every year.

According to the announced agenda, Eximbank's extraordinary general meeting of shareholders is expected to approve the change of the bank's headquarters location.

Eximbank has not announced the location where the extraordinary shareholders' meeting will take place, nor the location chosen for the new headquarters.

However, the above changes took place after the new shareholder, Gelex Group Joint Stock Company (a company headquartered in Hanoi), officially became a major shareholder of Eximbank with a holding ratio of 10% (174,695,614 shares).

According to the updated list of shareholders owning 1% or more of shares at Eximbank as of August 13, in addition to Gelex, this list also includes VIX Securities Joint Stock Company (3.58%), Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan (1.03%), and Ms. Luong Thi Cam Tu (1.12%).

Eximbank currently has its headquarters located at Vincom Center building, 72 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The bank currently has a charter capital of over VND 17,469 billion.

The bank has a head office, a representative office in Hanoi, 48 branches, 167 transaction offices, and 6,154 employees (as of June 30, 2024).

Meanwhile, Gelex Group Joint Stock Company has its head office located at 52 Le Dai Hanh, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi. Gelex also has a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City at 70-72 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
