On the evening of September 3, at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceania 2024 ceremony, Ha Nam province was honored for the first time as "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination".
This year, Ha Nam has successfully surpassed many other famous candidates such as: Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei), Bohol (Philippines), Flores (Indonesia), Koh Kood (Thailand), Melaka (Malaysia), Morioka (Japan), Okinawa (Japan), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Sumba Island (Indonesia) and Taipei (Taiwan) to achieve the title of "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination".

Ha Nam is located at the southern gateway of Hanoi, about 65 km from the capital. This is a land with great potential for developing spiritual, cultural, ecological and culinary tourism with famous historical relics, landscapes and craft villages. Among them are tourist attractions that attract a large number of visitors such as Tam Chuc Spiritual Scenic Complex, Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda, Ba Danh Pagoda, Long Doi Son Pagoda, So Kien Basilica, etc.
