Accordingly, in the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology encourages students to actively use buses to contribute to reducing traffic congestion, environmental pollution and self-training.

Students who submit proof of monthly bus pass will receive a maximum of 11/100 training points.

According to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, encouraging students to take the bus can help reduce urban traffic congestion through the use of public transport, as buses have many advantages in transporting many passengers at once.

Compared with other personal vehicles such as motorbikes and cars, the number of people traveling by bus has a low area occupied.

According to the leader of the Student Affairs Department of the University of Technology, students only need to bring their photos to the Student Affairs Department, and they will have a confirmation paper to register for a monthly bus pass at a preferential price.

Specifically, monthly bus tickets for students are 55,000 VND (single route) and 100,000 VND (multi-route), half the regular price.

Along with information on additional training points for students, the Polytechnic University also posted details of 17 bus routes with stops near the school.

The assessment of students' training results is carried out according to Circular 16/2015 of the Ministry of Education and Training based on the following criteria: learning awareness; compliance with regulations; participation in political, social, cultural, artistic and sports activities; community relations; participation in class cadre work, unions and organizations in the school or achieving special achievements.

This score is used to consider scholarships, rewards - discipline, school termination, dormitory accommodation and other priorities according to each school's regulations.

In addition to studying well, students can increase their training points through extracurricular activities, clubs, teams, and groups in school; participate in volunteer campaigns, blood donation, green summer; participate and complete tasks of class executive committee work, union work, etc.
