On September 9th, the police in Tran Van Thoi District announced that they had summoned a woman to clarify her involvement in the abuse of a 16-year-old girl.
According to initial information, at 4 PM on September 8th, the Song Doc Town Police received a report from Ms. HTH (53 years old, residing in Hamlet 4, Song Doc Town), stating that at approximately 5 PM on September 7th, she noticed numerous injuries on her granddaughter NNV (16 years old). Upon questioning, NNV stated that the injuries were inflicted by Ms. LTK (43 years old, residing in the same locality). Currently, NNV lives with her grandmother in a rented house belonging to Ms. LTK.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Song Doc Town Police conducted an investigation and coordinated with the Criminal Investigation Agency of Tran Van Thoi District Police to invite Ms. K. and the grandmother of child V. to the police station to clarify the matter. During questioning by the Criminal Investigation Agency, Ms. K. admitted to hitting child V.
Previously, several video clips appeared on social media showing V. recounting how she had been repeatedly abused by Ms. K., who beat, punched, and kicked her. V. explained that she had to work for Ms. K. to pay off a debt owed to her grandmother. Fearing further abuse, V. ran away and sought help to return to her mother's home in Hau Giang .
Currently, the police in Tran Van Thoi district are continuing to investigate and clarify the case of the abuse of the 16-year-old girl mentioned above.
