These days, the coastal road through Hoa Thuong and Hoa Ha villages (Tam Thanh commune, Tam Ky city) has become much more colorful and bustling. Jars, pots, baskets, oars, and broken boat pieces are being repurposed and arranged into works of art by artists. Many seemingly discarded items have become more vibrant and eye-catching, conveying a message of environmental protection and preserving the coastal village landscape.

This activity is part of the "Enriching Art Products at Tam Thanh Community Art Village" program in 2024, aiming to enrich art products to serve tourism development goals. More than 120 people participated in this creative activity, including volunteer artists from provinces and cities nationwide; artists from Tam Ky City, the Fine Arts Club of the Education Sector in Tam Ky City; the Tam Ky City Youth Union; and local officials and residents.

At the end of the program, Tam Thanh commune gained 20 additional wall paintings; 33 basket boat artworks and 50 oars; approximately 15 sculptures, installations, and exhibits; and some artworks on local production tools donated by residents. These artworks will be arranged and decorated along the Truong Giang riverbank and the beaches of Hoa Thuong and Hoa Ha villages.

This summer, a visit to Tam Thanh offers more than just blue seas, golden sands, and traditional fish sauce villages; visitors can also enjoy and take photos with artworks depicting scenes closely related to the lives of coastal residents.
