National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) has continued to increase deposit interest rates from today, May 24, with an increase of 0.2%/year for all deposit terms.

NCB's online deposit interest rates applied from May 24 are as follows:

Interest rate for 1-month term is 3.4%/year, 2-month term is 3.6%/year, 3-month term is 3.7%/year, 4-month term is 3.8%/year, 5-month term is 3.9%/year.

NCB increased the 6-month term bank interest rate to 4.85%/year, the 7-month term to 4.9%/year, and the 8-month term to 4.95%/year.

Interest rates for 10-11 month deposits have officially exceeded the 5% threshold and are listed at 5.1%-5.15%/year.

Interest rates for 12, 13 and 15 month terms are 5.4% - 5.5% - 5.6%/year respectively.

Meanwhile, deposit interest rates for terms from 18-60 months are approaching the 6%/year mark, reaching 5.9%/year. This is also NCB's highest current deposit interest rate.

For the second time since the beginning of the month and the fourth time in less than two months, NCB has increased deposit interest rates.

Previously, on May 4, NCB increased 0.2%/year interest rates for 6-10 month and 12-36 month terms.

NCB is also the only bank to adjust interest rates on the morning of May 24.

According to statistics from the beginning of May 2024, a series of banks increased deposit interest rates including: ACB, VIB, GPBank, NCB, BVBank, Sacombank, CB, Bac A Bank, Techcombank, TPBank, PGBank, SeABank, Viet A Bank, ABBank, VPBank, HDBank and MB.

Of which, VIB is the first bank to increase interest rates 3 times since the beginning of the month on May 4, May 8 and May 21.

CB, SeABank, ABBank, NCB are banks that have increased interest rates twice.

On the contrary, VietBank is the bank that adjusted the mobilization interest rate down for all terms, while MB reduced the mobilization interest rate for 12-month term, VIB reduced the mobilization interest rate for 24 and 36-month terms. Both of these banks reduced the interest rate by 0.1 percentage point, lower than the mobilization interest rate increase of this bank.
