TPBank has just adjusted deposit interest rates for most terms. This is the first time in 3 months that TPBank has adjusted deposit interest rates.

According to the online interest rate table, 1 and 2 month terms decreased by 0.2%/year to 3.5% and 3.7%/year.

The interest rate for 3-month deposits also decreased by 0.2%/year to 3.8%/year. The 6-month term was kept at 4.8%/year, and the 9-month term was 4.9%/year. The bank interest rate for 12-month terms decreased by 0.1%/year to 5.2%/year.

Interest rates for the remaining terms remain the same. The 18-month term has an interest rate of 5.5%/year, while the highest mobilization interest rate TPBank applies to deposits with a term of 24-36 months is still 5.8%/year.

Since the beginning of February, 4 banks have adjusted their deposit interest rates. Previously, Techcombank (increased interest rates for 6-36 month terms), Bac A Bank (reduced interest rates for 1-36 months) and Eximbank (increased interest rates for 1-12 months, reduced interest rates for 15-36 months).

According to VietNamNet statistics for interest rates on deposits with terms of less than 6 months, there are currently 19 banks listing interest rates from 4-4.75%/year.

Eximbank has raised its 3-5 month term deposit interest rate to a ceiling of 4.75% per year. This is the maximum mobilization interest rate regulated by the State Bank for term deposits under 6 months.

However, Eximbank only applies an interest rate of 4.75%/year for online deposits on weekends. For online deposits on weekdays, the applied interest rate is 4.7%/year.

In addition to Eximbank, MBV applies this interest rate to customers depositing money for a term of 4-5 months. MBV is also the leading bank in terms of 3-month term interest rates, currently listed at 4.6%/year.

Interest rates of 4.5%/year are being offered by a series of banks, including Nam A Bank for 2-5 month terms; VietBank, BaoViet Bank, NCB, OCB for 5 month term deposits.

Among the 19 banks that are maintaining interest rates from 4%/year for deposits with terms of less than 6 months, 11 banks have listed savings interest rates from 4%/year for 1-month terms. Notably, MBV, Nam A Bank, and KienlongBank have listed savings interest rates for 1-month terms up to 4.3%/year.
