During the implementation of the project to upgrade and renovate 29/3 Park, one of the important items is dredging and treating about 100,000m3 of mud in the lake.

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang (investor): This is a Group B project, a level II technical infrastructure project with a total investment of nearly 673 billion VND from the city budget. Of which, the construction, equipment and other costs are 330 billion VND; the compensation costs are 297 billion VND; the contingency costs are 46 billion VND. The winning joint venture units including Dacinco - Nhat Huy - Dong Duong - Viet Anh Company will have to execute the construction bid; the project implementation period is expected to be 540 days (March 29, 2025 - September 30, 2026).

During the implementation of the project to upgrade and renovate 29/3 Park, one of the important items is dredging and treating about 100,000m3 of mud in the lake.

For a while, the relevant units had to struggle to find a place to dump the dredged sludge. Initially, the plan was to dump all the sludge at Khanh Son landfill, however, transporting the dredged sludge of the landfill project at Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Complex was not suitable. Draining the lake bed, then using an excavator combined with a truck to transport 100,000m3 of this sludge to the quarry of Phu My Hoa Company with a distance of 8.5km... the investor proposed the latest plan.
