In 2025, the province's retail industry is expected to continue to maintain strong growth momentum thanks to the stability of the economy and the sustainable development of commercial infrastructure. Along with the digital transformation trend and the boom of e-commerce, the Quang Ninh retail market will have great opportunities to develop strongly. Currently, the Department of Industry and Trade is continuing to implement policies to support businesses, encourage investment in modern trade infrastructure, expand distribution channels and improve service quality. The Department will also promote the development of a multi-channel retail model, combining traditional trade and e-commerce, to meet the increasing needs of consumers. In addition, trade promotion programs, promotions and consumer fairs will be organized to stimulate demand and expand the market. In addition, market management will be strengthened, goods quality control will be controlled, trade fraud and counterfeit goods will be strictly handled, and consumer rights will be protected. At the same time, attracting investment from large retail corporations, developing modern logistics and supply chains will also be focused on to create a solid foundation for the development of the retail industry in 2025.
Despite facing many challenges in the context of a volatile global economy, the Quang Ninh retail industry still recorded positive results in 2024 and is expected to have a strong breakthrough in 2025 thanks to the recovery prospects of the Vietnamese economy. In the long term, with rapid urbanization, strong development of e-commerce and increasing income and living standards of people, the retail industry will have many opportunities to develop remarkably. These factors not only promote the growth of the consumer market but also create solid momentum for the Quang Ninh retail industry to confidently achieve its goals in 2025.
