According to the direction of the province, departments, branches and localities must closely follow the policies, plans, programs for tourism development of the central government, the province and the actual conditions of the locality to implement tourism development appropriately and effectively, ensuring synchronization, sustainability and integration. Focus on linking tourism with other sectors in the value chain, improving capacity, promoting potential, advantages and traditions of the locality to develop typical tourism products, associated with green and sustainable development.

In 2025, the Government sets a target of welcoming 22-23 million international visitors, serving 130 million domestic visitors, with total tourism revenue growing by 12-13% compared to 2024; creating a driving force for the development of other industries and sectors, actively and effectively contributing to the implementation of the economic growth target of 8% or more; contributing to accelerating, breaking through, creating momentum, creating momentum, and creating force for double-digit growth in the next stages, bringing the country to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.

2025 is a year of special importance, the final year of implementing the socio-economic development plan for the 2021-2025 period. This is also the year when the entire political system from the central to the grassroots level carries out the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, holds party congresses at all levels, consolidates fundamental factors, and lays the foundation for our country to confidently enter a new era - the era of striving to develop richly and prosperously for the nation. Meanwhile, the world and regional situation continues to develop very complicatedly and unpredictably. The global economy in general and tourism in particular are recovering slowly and unsteadily, posing many challenges in implementing socio-economic development targets.

For Phu Yen, in 2024, the provincial tourism industry achieved many important results, emerging as a bright spot in the region with many encouraging results. For the first time, Phu Yen tourism welcomed nearly 4.1 million visitors, exceeding the plan by 20% and increasing by more than 27% over the same period in 2023, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality. To maintain growth momentum and sustainable development, in 2025, Phu Yen tourism industry must constantly innovate, overcome limitations and shortcomings, focus on developing diverse products, service quality, protecting the environment and exploiting existing potential more effectively, contributing significantly to the growth of the locality. To maintain the double-digit growth momentum as in 2024, the provincial tourism sector has integrated the tourism development planning content into the Phu Yen Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister; proactively developing the Provincial Tourism Development Project for the period 2024-2030, with a vision to 2050. Along with that, it is necessary to promote tourism promotion, stimulate demand, attract tourists; diversify and improve the quality of tourism products and services, creating favorable conditions for tourists to access tourist destinations.

With synchronous solutions and drastic implementation of the entire political system, we expect that Phu Yen tourism will continue to develop strongly, commensurate with the potential and advantages of the locality, together with the whole country welcoming 22-23 million international visitors and serving 130 million domestic visitors, contributing positively to the overall economic growth target of the whole country.
