With the resolute direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, over the past 11 years, the fight against corruption and negativity has become an "irreversible movement and trend". A series of major violations have been discovered, handled, and hundreds of thousands of billions of dong have been recovered for the State. It is worth noting that, even in cases that occurred decades ago, people in high positions, even in the Politburo , when violating, have been strictly disciplined. Never before has the fight against corruption and negativity in our country been directed, organized, implemented in a strong, synchronous, drastic and effective manner as in recent times.

Comrade Le Dinh Cuoc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association, shared: I am very impressed with the uncompromising fight against corruption and negativity initiated by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. This has also had a great impact on localities across the country. In recent years, the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been focused on by Ninh Binh province, seriously and effectively led and directed, promptly detecting and handling cases related to corruption and negativity. These results not only contribute to building a clean and strong political system, but also strengthen the people's trust in the leadership of Party committees and the management and administration of authorities at all levels.

Along with resolute, tough but also very cautious measures, in the process of implementing the fight against corruption and negativity, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has directed the implementation of a very strict process of handling officials who violate the law, each step is considered democratically, fairly, and publicly according to the Party's principles and legal regulations. Therefore, the right person, the right crime, the right law has been handled, demonstrating a resolute but still very humane spirit. Thanks to that, the violators also realized their mistakes, were convinced, and promised to overcome their shortcomings. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong once emphasized: Fighting corruption and handling officials who violate the law is not to punish anyone or hold grudges against anyone, but entirely for humanity and humaneness. As Uncle Ho said, we must cut off a rotten, wormy branch to save the whole tree; handle a few people to alert, warn, deter, and prevent others from violating. The General Secretary also noted that it is not necessary to handle many, but to handle them severely to be serious.

Not only through practical actions, the General Secretary also left for the next generation a "handbook" on the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity through the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" with articles, thoughts, and guiding viewpoints drawn from practice, demonstrating the vision, clear intelligence, close, decisive, comprehensive, and convincing direction of the General Secretary. Sharing her feelings about the book, comrade Pham Thi Minh Chinh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Yen Khanh District Party Committee, said: I realize that the work was built and written by the General Secretary with all her heart, intelligence, patriotism, and deep love for the people... A lot of useful information and knowledge is summarized in the content of this book, so each person, especially cadres and party members, when reading and studying, will understand better, identify correctly, thereby more clearly defining the responsibility, motivation and belief in preserving political qualities, ethics and lifestyle, actively fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building the Party and the political system increasingly clean and strong, building an increasingly prosperous country. As a person working in propaganda, as well as a cadre and party member, I realize that I have the responsibility to propagate and spread the content and meaning of the book, so that the work of preventing and fighting corruption can achieve better results.

The fight against corruption is a war against internal invaders, without gunfire, but it is long-term, arduous, and requires determination and perseverance. Cadres, party members, and people of Ninh Binh hope that in the coming time, the fight against corruption will continue to be carried out effectively and achieve more results. Although General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has passed away, his great contributions to the prevention and fight against corruption and negative practices will continue to be continued and spread more strongly by our Party, State and People.
