Understanding and loving Hanoi, musician Nguyen Thanh Trung distilled beautiful images and memories and put them into two songs.

Alone in Hanoi opens with the typical street cries. The simple, rustic lyrics blend with the guitar and the soulful, narrative voice of singer Huy Chien (Vietnam National Academy of Music), expressing a lonely, lost mood in the face of the noise and constant change of Hanoi.

In Thanh am Ha Noi , singer Duc Tuyen - lecturer of the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music - with his deep and warm baritone voice, recreates the image of old Hanoi through the scent of young rice, the scent of milk flowers and the smiles of each person. Hanoi is now more beautiful, modern, civilized, worthy of the title City for Peace.
