Celebrating Vietnam Social Work Day

On the morning of March 25th, the Department of Health organized a ceremony to celebrate the 9th Vietnam Social Work Day in 2025, aiming to honor the noble values ​​and humanitarian significance, and to recognize the role and contributions of social workers in addressing the problems of individuals, families, communities, and society.

At the ceremony, delegates watched a video clip showcasing social work activities at healthcare facilities in the province; and shared experiences in providing social assistance and social work services at hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The leaders of the Department of Health presented flowers and acknowledged the contributions of collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in social work.

This is an opportunity to express gratitude to the social work staff who have contributed to raising community awareness of the importance of social work in the healthcare system. This will promote the development of the field towards greater professionalism and effectiveness, bringing more practical benefits to patients and society.

On this occasion, the Department of Health presented flowers and acknowledged the contributions of 28 collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in social work, contributing to supporting patients and the community.
