Celebrating the 78th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945)

On September 2, 1945, at historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

Up to today, with the country's great achievements, the document of the 13th National Party Congress affirmed: "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today". In the Declaration of Independence, there is a passage: "Vietnam has the right to enjoy freedom and independence and has truly become a free and independent country...". Together with the whole country, the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Thuan celebrate the 78th anniversary of National Day when the province has just conducted a mid-term review of the 2020-2025 term with proud achievements, although we have faced many difficulties and challenges. The outstanding result is that we have achieved many important and relatively comprehensive results in the fields of socio-economy, national defense and security, creating initial changes in social life. Accordingly, the average growth rate of gross domestic product GRDP in the period of 2021-2023 is estimated at 5.76%/year. The economic structure is shifting in the right direction. Budget revenue compared to GRDP in 2021 reached 13.41%, in 2022 reached 11.41%. Economic sectors developed relatively evenly, many potential advantages of the province were exploited, used and promoted more and more effectively. In particular, the industrial - handicraft sector is increasingly developing. Services - tourism quickly recovered and developed impressively right after the Covid-19 pandemic, creating many new and quality products and services to attract tourists. In particular, in 2023, Binh Thuan will host the National Tourism Year with the theme "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". This is an opportunity for Binh Thuan to be ready to welcome the investment wave with strategic, large-scale projects, as well as confidently conquer many higher goals to lay a solid foundation for breakthroughs in attracting investment for development. For the agricultural sector, the province continues to promote crop restructuring in accordance with advantages and market demand; Forming large-scale agricultural production areas, applying high technology associated with production linkage, product consumption according to the value chain. Along with that, developing organic agriculture, applying high technology associated with building value chains. Resources for development investment continue to be mobilized more, essential infrastructure systems are promoted to contribute to promoting local socio-economic development. The work of removing difficulties and obstacles, supporting businesses and promoting and attracting investment has achieved increasingly more mobilization results. Activities in science and technology, health, education, culture, information and communication have clearly improved. The work of managing natural resources, preventing and combating natural disasters, responding to climate change, and the ecological environment has received attention and direction. Administrative reform has been increasingly effective; the settlement of complaints and denunciations, and the prevention and combat of corruption have been promoted. National defense work has been strengthened, security has been maintained. In particular, building a prosperous and happy life for the people is the goal and long-term strategy of the Provincial Party Committee. Party building and mass mobilization work have achieved quite comprehensive results. One of the highlights in the past half term is that the province has directed and guided the organization of a political activity with the theme "Keeping the Party member's oath" at all levels of Party committees, Party organizations, leaders, managers at all levels and Party members throughout the province. Through the political activity, each individual will have a fuller and deeper understanding of the honor, pride, honor and responsibility of cadres and Party members towards the oath before the Party flag, the promise before the organization and the people, contributing to raising the awareness of self-training, self-examination, self-correction, preventing degradation in political ideology, lifestyle ethics, manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among cadres and Party members; building the Party and the political system increasingly clean and strong. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style continues to be widely implemented and spread in society, with more and more typical and advanced models appearing in various fields...

To develop Binh Thuan, the Provincial Party Secretary called on each cadre, party member, civil servant to make efforts, overcome difficulties, and promote the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to the construction and development of the province: “In any job, no matter how difficult, each cadre and civil servant must make efforts, be determined, find appropriate solutions, and put the interests of the province and the people first, then that job will be successful.
