Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Tam Ward Party Committee

On the morning of April 5, the Party Executive Committee of Quang Tam Ward ( Thanh Hoa City) held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Party's founding (April 5, 1954 - April 5, 2024) and announced the book History of the Ward Party Committee for the period 1954-2024.

On April 5, 1954, Quang Tam commune was established by dividing Quang Cat commune into 3 communes: Quang Minh, Quang Cat and Quang Tam. Accordingly, Quang Tam Party Cell was also established.

After 70 years of formation and development, from a commune upgraded to a ward, under the direct leadership of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee, Quang Tam Ward Party Committee and the People have achieved many encouraging achievements.

During the resistance wars to protect the Fatherland and liberate the nation, Quang Tam contributed human and material resources to the battlefield, joining the army and people of the whole country in liberating the South and unifying the country. Entering the period of renovation, the Party Committee and the People of Quang Tam strived to compete in labor production, achieving many outstanding achievements in all fields. Up to now, the physical facilities and infrastructure of the ward have been increasingly improved in the direction of modern urban development. The average annual growth rate increased by over 12%, the average income per capita reached 95 million VND/person/year. The cultural and social fields received due investment. National defense and security were maintained.

The cadres and people of Quang Tam ward were honored to be awarded the noble title: Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces; and the title of Determined-to-Win Unit by Military Region 4. The Party Committee of Quang Tam ward has continuously achieved the title of Clean and Strong Party Committee for many years.

At the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee Le Anh Tuan presented a banner of the Thanh Hoa City Party Executive Committee with the words "Solidarity, discipline, creativity, development, determination to build Quang Tam ward into a model unit" to the leaders of Quang Tam ward.
