I have many memories with the activities of Thanh Hoa Newspaper.
I came from Hanoi to Thanh Hoa to work and have lived in my homeland for 53 years now. Every day I read Thanh Hoa Newspaper. I also have many memories of the Newspaper's activities.
That is, since the 80s and 90s of the 20th century, Thanh Hoa has considered agriculture as the leading front. The province strives to achieve 1 million tons of food, 1 million pigs and export high-value agricultural products. The struggle for the leading front has mobilized the participation of all people in the province, including the military. In particular, Thanh Hoa Newspaper reporters have been working hard, staying close to the base to write news and articles to promote and encourage economic models of cooperatives, 5-ton fields, livestock farms, stations and high-quality hybrid rice farms.
Along with agriculture, Thanh Hoa also quickly launched small-scale handicraft production in cooperatives. The bamboo and rattan weaving industry in coastal localities such as Hoang Hoa, Quang Xuong, Sam Son, Tinh Gia developed effectively, creating a large volume of consumer goods and exports. At that time, Thanh Hoa Newspaper focused on promoting effective production models, emphasizing the methods for people to read, learn, and follow. The goals set for agricultural development in the province were successful, in which Thanh Hoa Newspaper played a significant role.
Entering the new period, the need for development with a much larger scale and height; the need for information and propaganda work needs to be expanded, in addition to improving the quality of news, articles, and photos, Thanh Hoa Newspaper is interested in increasing the number of newspapers, from 2 issues/week, 4 pages, small size, printed in black and white at the beginning, the Editorial Board of the Newspaper has gradually proposed to the Provincial Party Committee to increase to 3 issues/week, 4 issues/week, then 6 issues/week, large size, printed in 4 colors on pages 1 and 4 of special issues. By the beginning of 2018, all daily Thanh Hoa issues increased from 4 pages to 8 pages, printed in 4 colors on pages 1 and 8. As a regular reader of the local Party newspaper, I am very happy to see Thanh Hoa Newspaper constantly innovate, improving the quality of both content and form. Information on publications is more timely. Many in-depth topics on Party building; Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; economic development; new rural construction; cultural - social development, tourism, education, health care... attract the attention of Party committees, authorities and readers. Articles summarizing practices and social criticism are increasingly numerous, contributing to the overall development of the province.
I think that, even though it is a Party newspaper, to have many readers, we must not only wait for the instructions from superiors to buy Party newspapers, but the essential thing is that the quality of the articles must be good, the articles should not be too long. The newspaper should have a rebuttal section for readers to contribute ideas and debate... The "headlines" of news and articles need to be more concise and succinct.

The publication date of Thanh Hoa Newspaper at weekends and Thanh Hoa Newspaper every month is always awaited by readers and collaborators like us because the content of the publications is very rich.
Thanh Hoa Weekend Newspaper and Thanh Hoa Monthly Newspaper have brought readers an overall picture and many perspectives on the rich cultural, historical, revolutionary traditions and the Thanh Hoa people with courage, responsibility, loyalty and the will to rise up to build the homeland and country to become more and more beautiful. The articles are quite good, citing historical milestones clearly.
However, in my opinion, there should be more articles about individuals who made great contributions to the State during the feudal period or articles about loyal revolutionary soldiers; heroes, military generals who contributed to the Fatherland...
Regarding culture and society, there should be many articles about typical villages and hamlets in building cultural villages and cultural families for localities to learn and follow. The family - school and society section has not had many articles in the newspaper. Regarding the section on the roads of the Western region of Thanh Hoa, the photo reports and articles have been quite good for a long time. However, the newspaper also needs to have more articles about the sea, islands, fishing, and aquaculture to encourage and motivate fishermen to go offshore, stick to the sea, and protect the Fatherland...

10 years as a contributor to Thanh Hoa Newspaper has helped me gain more practical experience in writing. Every day, I access Thanh Hoa Newspaper online to view information and learn more about writing.
Through researching information on Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper, I realized that in recent times, the newspaper has quickly and promptly conveyed the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, objectively reflecting the concerns and aspirations of all classes of people. Many important events have been updated promptly and continuously by the newspaper while the events were taking place. The implementation of modern, multimedia journalistic works has conveyed information to readers in a comprehensive and in-depth manner.
In addition, the issue that I am most interested in at present is the Party building section of the Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper, which has regularly updated news and articles on Party building work of the provincial Party Committee, district-level Party Committee and equivalent, and grassroots Party Committees, on 5 aspects: Politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres. The Newspaper also has many articles analyzing and refuting the wrong and hostile arguments of reactionary forces and political opportunists, thereby propagating and raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people towards the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting wrong and hostile views in the new situation.
