On the morning of November 23, the Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2024); 20 years of establishment of the Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association (November 2004 - November 2024).

Thanh Hoa Antiquities Association was established by the decision of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on November 12, 2004. In 2015, Thanh Hoa Antiquities Association merged with Lam Kinh Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association, named Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association (DSVH&CVTH).

Over 20 years of operation, the Association of Cultural Heritage and Historical Relics has become a "common home" for responsible members who are dedicated to the work of preserving, restoring and promoting cultural heritage values.
With 6 branches, each with its own functions and activities, in recent years the Association of Cultural Heritage and Historical Relics has done a good job of propagating and raising people's awareness of the value of cultural heritage and the need to preserve and maintain cultural heritage values.
In particular, the Association has made an important contribution to the restoration of the bronze drum casting craft using traditional manual methods. Accordingly, the Association has restored 3 traditional bronze drum casting centers; coordinated with artisans to train and pass on the craft to hundreds of people; cast 100 bronze drums to celebrate the thousandth anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi; donated bronze drums to the Quang Tri ancient citadel special national relic site...; restored and staged bronze drum dances; organized bronze drum casting competitions, casting cannons using manual methods...
In addition, the Association of Cultural Heritage and Historical Relics is one of the leading units in establishing branches to preserve the Mother Goddess religion in localities. Up to now, the whole province has had 10 branches to preserve the Mother Goddess religion with more than 500 members. Five festivals have been held to practice the worship of the Three Palaces with the participation of outstanding artisans and folk artists.
At the ceremony, delegates listened to the presentations of members, expressing their enthusiasm and responsibility in preserving and promoting the cultural values of heritage.
On the occasion of the celebration, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee announced the decision to award Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 5 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the work of preserving and promoting the values of cultural heritage; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association; Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism... to individuals and collectives of the Association.
