Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed the Prime Minister's decision to discipline Mr. Tran Duc Quy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Giang province.
Mr. Tran Duc Quy was determined to have violations and shortcomings in his work and the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee has taken party discipline.

On November 11, the Standing Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee reviewed and decided to discipline 3 party organizations and 8 officials and party members.
These organizations and individuals violated the principle of democratic centralism, Party regulations, working regulations, and State laws in leading, directing, advising, proposing, organizing appraisals, deciding on investments, bidding, and implementing the Target Program on Education in Mountainous Areas, Ethnic Minority Areas, and Particularly Difficult Areas for the 2016-2020 period, causing serious consequences and wasting a large amount of State money and assets.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline by reprimand, and at the same time, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approved the policy of early retirement for Mr. Tran Duc Quy, member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, member of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
