Signing collective labor agreement of a group of enterprises in Quang Tri province

This morning, November 1, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with the Provincial Business Association to organize a conference to sign a collective labor agreement (CLA) for a group of enterprises in Quang Tri province.

After 2 years of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Quang Tri Provincial Business Association coordinating to implement the negotiation process, organizing the signing of 2 Collective Labor Agreements of groups of enterprises in the province (group of enterprises processing, trading, importing and exporting wood and group of enterprises producing and trading construction materials), up to now, the implementation of the Collective Labor Agreement of groups of enterprises has received high support from a large number of union members, workers, as well as consensus and interest.

Thereby, creating conditions for employers in enterprises to participate in the implementation, monitoring, urging and supervising the implementation of trade unions at all levels.

From the effective signing of the group collective labor agreement, 986 union members and employees of 16 enterprises participating in 2 group collective labor agreements have been paid salaries, fully participated in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance; enjoyed 13th month salary, early salary increase; and support for shift meals.

100% tuition support when employees participate in vocational and professional courses sent by employers; support for employees who have work-related accidents; many welfare regimes to support employees on holidays, Tet... are all implemented at a higher level than the level of group collective labor agreements.

This creates excitement and enthusiasm for competition in labor, production and business, contributing to increasing labor productivity, improving product quality, increasing revenue and profit, creating harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise; at the same time, limiting labor migration and competition between enterprises in the same industry, contributing to promoting the development of enterprises.

At this conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor continued to coordinate with the Provincial Business Association to organize the signing of 2 collective labor agreements of business groups. Of which, 6 business units participated in the signing of the collective labor agreement of the wood processing, trading, and import-export group; 10 businesses participated in the signing of the collective labor agreement of the construction material trading and production group this time.

The content of the 2 group collective labor agreements of enterprises consists of 3 parts and 13 articles. The group collective labor agreements have more favorable contents than the provisions of the law for union members and employees regarding: wages, bonuses, salary increases; employment and job security; working hours, rest hours; occupational safety and hygiene and social insurance; welfare regime; union activities.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Tai Minh said: Immediately after signing the group collective labor agreements, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to direct grassroots unions to publicize, deploy and supervise the implementation of the group collective labor agreements.

At the same time, assign responsibility to the trade unions at the level directly above the establishments where enterprises participate in the group collective labor agreement in monitoring and supervising the implementation and periodically reporting the implementation results.

Maintain and expand collective labor agreements with many enterprises and units and sign additional collective labor agreements with other groups of enterprises, bringing better and better rights and benefits to employees compared to the provisions of the law, contributing to the successful implementation of the breakthrough on "Dialogue, collective bargaining, focusing on wages, bonuses, working conditions and hours" of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Quang Tri Trade Union and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union.
