Signing of a tourism development cooperation agreement between businesses of Quang Ninh (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China)

Immediately after the meeting between the leaders of Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), a signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement on Tourism Development between enterprises of Quang Ninh Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region took place. Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Comrade Liu Ning, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Regional Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, witnessed the signing ceremony.

At the ceremony, enterprises from Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) signed a cooperation agreement on tourism development. According to the cooperation agreement, the parties agreed to accelerate the development of cruise routes between Guangxi, China and Vietnam through the launch of the “Beihai - Ha Long” cruise route between the two cruise ports in the two localities, and in the future, study the expansion of the cruise port of this cruise route to other cities in Central and Southern Vietnam. Together promote cruise tourism between Guangxi, China and Vietnam, expand the content and scope of “tourism+” services, strengthen cooperation with travel agencies, hotels, and scenic spots to complete the tourism chain. Strengthen information work, visit, organize exchange and training activities on port management and cruise services at the Beibu Gulf International Cruise Port (China) and Ha Long International Cruise Port (Vietnam), in order to improve the qualifications and quality of staff, enhance mutual understanding and promote cultural exchanges. Promote exchanges and cooperation between the management departments of tourist ports in Guangxi, China and Vietnam to facilitate customs procedures and improve customer satisfaction. On the basis of "taking advantage of advantages and mutually beneficial cooperation", the parties pledge to jointly promote the development of cruise lines and tourism markets as well as cooperation between relevant industries between China and Vietnam, contributing to creating favorable conditions for the development of the China-Vietnam tourism and cruise market.
