Accordingly, the Coordination Regulations specifically stipulate the authority to receive and handle crime reports, prosecute and investigate criminal cases; the authority to exercise the right to prosecute and supervise the reception and handling of crime reports, prosecution and investigation of criminal cases; to resolve and supervise the handling of complaints and denunciations in the reception and handling of crime reports, prosecution and investigation of criminal cases; to coordinate in receiving, classifying and handling crime reports and investigating criminal cases between the professional departments of the Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy at two levels of An Giang province; to coordinate in receiving, classifying and handling crime reports and investigating criminal cases between the commune-level police and the district-level People's Procuracy; to coordinate in receiving, classifying and handling denunciations and crime reports for a number of cases; to coordinate in the work of examining crime scenes, corpses and experimental investigations, etc.

The signed coordination regulations help the two units carry out their tasks closely, without interruption, in accordance with the provisions of law and relevant documents; not to let violations or criminals escape; effectively contributing to the fight against crime, serving the local political tasks well.
