Signing of cooperation agreement to develop "Smart Tourism" software Son La Tour

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with IGB Joint Stock Company.

IGB Joint Stock Company is an enterprise operating in the field of information technology, specializing in providing software development services, website design and applications on mobile platforms. In 2023 and 2024, the Company cooperated with Moc Chau town and Quynh Nhai district to build Moc Chau Tour and Quynh Nhai Tour software to promote and support people and businesses in tourism activities.

At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and IGB Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing the “Smart Tourism” software. Accordingly, IGB Joint Stock Company will provide software, digitize data on the province’s tourism map, system of areas, points, landmarks, tourism products, cuisine, entertainment, room booking services, online shopping for local agricultural products, etc. The “Smart Tourism” software operates on websites and mobile platforms, and is expected to be handed over to Son La province and put into operation from July 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan highly appreciated the signing of the cooperation agreement to develop the Son La Tour smart tourism software, which has significantly contributed to supporting Son La province in promoting digital transformation in the tourism sector. Assign the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate with IGB Joint Stock Company to provide data and documents on Son La tourism; speed up the progress of software development and put it into operation soon. At the same time, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the software after it is put into operation.
