The State Auditor General answered questions before the National Assembly for the first time, but he prepared carefully for the content, had a firm grasp of the issues, answered briefly, clearly, convincingly, and went straight to the issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly conducted a question-and-answer session on the fourth group of issues in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung answered the questions.
National Assembly deputies focused their questions on the following issues: Selection, training, and policies for athletes and artists in the arts; employment for athletes and artists after peak competition and performance periods. Implementation of tasks and solutions to stimulate and restore tourism in 2024 and the following years; solutions to develop night tourism products and specific policies to attract investment in cultural, sports and tourism activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Participating in the questioning of Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, delegate Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ninh Binh province, raised the issue: In Vietnam, although the development of cultural industry is still quite new, products from cultural industry have more or less created a tourism effect. Obviously, the development of cultural industry is a lever to promote tourism. On the contrary, cultural tourism is not only a component part of the cultural industry but also the basis for creating resources to help preserve and promote cultural values in a sustainable manner. According to the Minister, what solutions need to be implemented to promote the role of the cultural industry in the connection with tourism?
The question of delegate Tran Thi Hong Thanh and some questions of other delegates will be answered by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung at the question and answer session on June 6.
