The 25th session of the 19th Provincial People's Council passed important resolutions on economy.

On the afternoon of April 9, at the Provincial People's Committee hall, the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held the 25th Session (Special Session) to consider and resolve issues under its authority.

Speaking at the opening of the session, comrade Dang Thanh Son, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, said: The 25th session (Special session) of the 19th Provincial People's Council will discuss, consider and approve 8 important contents under its authority related to the fields of finance - investment, land management and internal affairs. The content of this session is very important to promptly implement tasks serving economic development and ensuring social security of the province. Therefore, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council uphold their sense of responsibility; actively participate in contributing opinions to consider and approve the contents of the session with high unity and consensus, meeting the development requirements of the province and the aspirations of voters and people.

Following the meeting agenda, members of the Provincial People's Committee presented the reports of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting. These included 5 resolutions in the field of finance and investment planning; 1 resolution regulating support policies for redundant non-professional workers at the commune level who are laid off due to the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ha Nam province and 2 resolutions in the field of land management.

Based on the review of the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee; the verification reports of the Economic - Budget Committee and the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council; based on the provisions of current laws and the actual situation of the province, the Provincial People's Council delegates upheld the spirit of responsibility, promoted democracy and intelligence, focused on researching, discussing, agreeing and voting to pass 8 thematic resolutions at the 25th Session.

Speaking at the closing session, Mr. Dang Thanh Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, affirmed: The 25th session (Special Session) of the Provincial People's Council was a great success. The resolutions passed at the session are urgent and important contents to promptly carry out socio-economic development tasks, especially attracting prestigious colleges and universities to invest in Nam Cao University Area, creating an important premise to attract residents and develop socio-economic fields of Ha Nam province in the long term. Immediately after the session, the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently concretize and direct the implementation of the resolutions passed by the session, especially accelerating the allocation and disbursement of public investment capital in 2025 and the period of 2021-2025, contributing to promoting economic growth, striving to successfully complete the set socio-economic development goals and plans. Propose that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, and the delegations of the Provincial People's Council strengthen the supervision of the implementation of the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council that have been issued, detect difficulties, obstacles, and shortcomings; propose and recommend to competent agencies to promptly resolve them so that the resolutions can be effective. The delegates of the Provincial People's Council promptly disseminate and inform voters about the resolutions passed by the Provincial People's Council, creating high consensus and unity in the organization of implementation.
