The 10th session of the 19th Yen Dinh District People's Council

On the morning of July 7, the People's Council of Yen Dinh district, term XIX, 2021-2026, held the 10th session, evaluating the results of the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year; deciding on goals and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023 and considering and deciding on many other important contents under its authority.

According to the report of Yen Dinh District People's Committee presented at the meeting, in the first 6 months of 2023, the socio -economic situation in the district continued to develop and achieved many important and quite comprehensive results in all fields.

Comrade Vu Ngoc Thuong, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Council opened the meeting.

Regarding agriculture , the total cultivated area has been expanded and achieved both productivity and output. The district has concentrated on 250 hectares to apply high technology in production, 3.6 times higher than the same period. Livestock continues to develop steadily. Up to now, the whole district has 111 qualified farms, equal to 11.1% of the number of farms in the district.

Overview of the meeting

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, the district was recognized by the province as 2 advanced new rural communes, bringing the total number of advanced new rural communes in the district to 7. On average, the whole district achieved 14.2/19 advanced new rural criteria; 8 more products were recognized as 3-star OCOP products at the provincial level, bringing the total number of OCOP products in the district to 22 products, ranking 5th out of 27 districts, towns and cities in the province.

In the field of industrial production - construction , the industrial production value is estimated at 2,208.15 billion VND, belonging to the group of districts, towns and cities with the leading scale and growth rate of production value in the province. State management of construction investment continues to be strengthened; construction works and projects continue to be constructed and supervised to ensure quality and progress. State budget revenue is estimated at 176 billion VND.

Social security policies are implemented promptly. National defense and security are ensured. Discipline and administrative order continue to be strengthened. Commune People's Council delegates speak at the meeting

At the meeting, the Yen Dinh District People's Council listened to the report on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations at the 8th Session; the report of the District Fatherland Front Committee on the Front's participation in government building and the synthesis of voters' opinions and recommendations sent to the meeting. Considered the reports and submissions of the District People's Committee; the People's Court, the People's Procuracy, the District Civil Judgment Enforcement Office and the committees of the District People's Council.

At the same time, discuss and contribute ideas on solutions to implement socio-economic development targets and tasks in the last months of the year to complete the 2023 goals. The meeting passed Resolutions of important significance to the socio-economic development of the district.
