On the afternoon of March 19, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organize a joint conference to unify the content and agenda of the Provincial People's Council meeting to resolve urgent matters. Attending the conference were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and a number of provincial units.

As planned, the Provincial People's Council meeting to resolve urgent matters will review and discuss reports, proposals, and draft resolutions of the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the meeting. Among them are a number of important reports and proposals: Report on the results of implementation and disbursement of the public investment capital plan from the local budget in 2022, which is allowed to be extended to 2023; report proposing to extend the implementation period and disbursement of the public investment capital plan from the local budget in 2023 to 2024; proposal on the termination of the BOT contract for the road project from Thai Binh city to Nghen bridge to switch to implementation in the form of public investment; proposal to amend Resolution No. 19/2023/NQ-HDND dated November 24, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council on approving the land price adjustment coefficient in 2024 in Thai Binh province; Report proposing the issuance of a resolution regulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services not covered by the health insurance fund in state-owned medical examination and treatment facilities under the management of Thai Binh province; Report proposing the issuance of support policies for commune-level cadres, civil servants, public employees, and non-professional workers at the commune level who are redundant due to the implementation of the restructuring of commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023 - 2025. At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will also carry out the content of personnel work under its authority and decide on a number of other important contents.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, basically agreed with the expected content and agenda of the meeting; affirmed that the reports, submissions, and draft resolutions submitted to the meeting were all necessary and urgent, associated with the rights and interests of many cadres and people, serving the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that it is necessary to promote the democratic spirit, sense of responsibility, and collective intelligence of the Provincial People's Council delegates to contribute quality opinions to reports and submissions, creating unity and consensus so that the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, after being promulgated, will soon come into life.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Comrade Dang Thanh Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, accepted the opinions of the delegates and requested the advisory agency to study and add urgent reports to the content and agenda of the meeting.

The comrade agreed that the meeting is scheduled to take place on April 3, 2024 at the Provincial Convention Center and affirmed that this is a meeting that will decide on many important contents, the time is short, so it is necessary to do a good job of preparation. The Provincial People's Committee directed the branches to promptly complete the submissions and draft resolutions to create conditions for the Provincial People's Council committees to proactively organize the review to ensure time and quality. The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council coordinated with relevant units to carefully prepare the conditions for the meeting to take place successfully, ensuring quality and efficiency.
