The 8th thematic session of the 19th Provincial People's Council listened to, considered and approved the draft resolution on: Approving the adjustment of the Medium-term Public Investment Plan of local budget capital for the period 2021-2025, Tuyen Quang province.

Accordingly, the submission of the Provincial People's Committee reported the results of reviewing and adjusting the allocation of investment capital from the local budget to implement a number of key projects in the province. Based on the review and assessment of the implementation results of projects in the public investment plan for the period 2021-2025, to ensure compliance with the actual situation, it is necessary to adjust the public investment plan.

Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

According to the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee: Adjust the project name: "Investment in construction of connecting road linking Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang region with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway" to "Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1) - section through Tuyen Quang province" in Resolution No. 68 dated December 20, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council to ensure consistency with the approved project name. The draft resolution also adds an increase in the public investment plan from land use fee revenue and adjusts and allocates detailed capital.

The meeting also reviewed, discussed and approved the Draft Resolution approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the project of Renovation, upgrading and construction of a number of works serving reserve training in Tuyen Quang province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son approved the proposal to elect members of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.

At the same time, the election of members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term was carried out for comrades Pham Ninh Thai, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Nguyen Thanh Ha, Director of the Department of Information and Communications with an absolute approval rate.

In her closing speech, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized: The eighth thematic session, with a small number of resolutions considered and approved, is of great significance, promptly meeting the requirements in directing, operating, and implementing the province's socio-economic development tasks.

Provincial leaders voted to elect members of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province for the 2021-2026 term.

He suggested that after the resolution is issued, the Provincial People's Committee should pay attention and direct all levels, sectors, units and localities to organize and implement the resolution to ensure effectiveness.

He congratulated the newly elected members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 19th term 2021-2026, and hoped that they would continue to make efforts and strive to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the trust and expectations of voters and people in the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that in the coming time, the Provincial People's Council continue to strengthen the performance of the functions of the local elected body according to regulations to complete the tasks set out in 2024.
