The semi-final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 took place on the evening of September 11 at Phu Tho Stadium (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City) with the bikini and evening gown competitions of 29 contestants. The top 5 of each competition were found one by one, in which Ky Duyen, Mai Ly, and Bao Nhi were all present in the top 5.
Opening, 29 contestants performed impressively and proudly chanted the name of their hometown.
The panel of judges in the semi-final night included Head of Jury Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga and members: Pharmacist Tien, supermodel Thanh Hang, Miss Nguyen Huong Giang, Creative Director Ha Do, 1st Runner-up Miss Universe 2023 Anntonia Porsild.
In the bikini performance, contestants Nguyen Thi Nga and Doan Tuong Linh made a good impression. Paris Bao Nhi is 1m73 tall, impressing with her long straight hair. Model Do Thu Ha is 1m78 tall, radiant with charisma, and impressive short hair. Vu Thuy Quynh had an energetic performance, Nguyen Quynh Anh proved herself to be the "dark horse" of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 when she dominated the stage with impressive skills and a standard body. Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen showed off her radiant charisma in a bikini. Quach Tapiau Maily was not far behind when she showed off her toned body and confident smile. At the end of the performance, Phi Phuong Anh dominated the stage, impressing in a bikini.
4 “Anh Trai Say Hi” opened the evening gown performance with the song Chan Thanh . With the deep melody of the song and the melodious background music, the contestants of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 gracefully showed off their beauty through impressive evening gowns. In the evening gown performance, contestants such as Nguyen Thi Nga, Nguyen Diem My, Truong Gia Han, Nguyen Thanh Hao, Ngo Thi Kieu Trang, Trieu Thien Trang, Nguyen Thi Hong Van... successfully completed the competition when walking in impressive dresses.
On the evening of September 12, at the same time as the crown announcement, representatives of the organizing committee and producers of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 announced that this year's contest will only have 1 Miss title and 2 runner-up titles. The crown of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 appeared splendidly on the center stage of the semi-final program, called "Million Dollar Mission".
At the end of the semi-final night, MC Nguyen Khang and Miss Bui Quynh Hoa officially announced the top 5 contestants with the best performances, the top 5 contestants with the best bikini performances of the semi-final night of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024.
The Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 Final Night will take place on September 14 at Phu Tho Stadium and find the owner of the 24 million VND crown.
