Kong Chro rewards 45 outstanding collectives and individuals in military recruitment work in 2025

(GLO)- On the morning of April 9, the Military Service Council of Kong Chro district (Gia Lai province) summarized the military recruitment work in 2025 and discussed the direction and tasks for 2026.

Thanks to the good work of recruiting citizens for military service, in 2025, Kong Chro district completed 100% of the assigned target. 92 citizens who met the standards of political quality, ethics, cultural level, and health were handed over to the units.

The Army's rear policy work continues to receive attention. The District Women's Union coordinated with departments and organizations to meet, encourage and give gifts (VND300,000/gift) to 92 citizens leaving for military service. The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of communes and towns proactively met, gave gifts and cash to 92 citizens leaving for military service, with a total cost of more than VND73 million; at the same time, assigned cadres to organize the handover of citizens to the District Military Service Council to ensure sufficient numbers and on time.

On this occasion, Chairman of Kong Chro District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 16 collectives and 29 individuals with outstanding achievements in military recruitment in 2025.
