Timely discovery, nurturing and promotion of young talents

In order to create positive changes in discovering, nurturing and promoting young talents, contributing to building high-quality human resources; arousing patriotism and the desire to contribute of young talents in the province, the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the Project "Discovering, nurturing and promoting young Vietnamese talents in the period of 2022 - 2030".

The plan sets a target that every year, at least 70% of young people will be provided with information on policies, activities to discover, nurture and promote young talents in various fields; 100% of districts, towns, city unions and affiliated unions will monitor and update the database of young talents of their localities and units and effectively connect and promote young talents.

By 2025, update and effectively exploit data on 10,000 young Vietnamese talents at home and abroad; at least 70% of union officials at all levels, of which 100% of union officials in charge of youth talent work, will be trained in knowledge and professional skills to discover, nurture and promote young talents.

By 2030, update and effectively exploit the data of 30,000 young talents on the National Young Talent Database System. After being discovered and honored, at least 60% of young talents will be nurtured, participate in knowledge sharing activities, support the community, and participate in socio-economic development organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, departments, branches, and localities.

Task groups and implementation solutions include propaganda activities, raising awareness about discovering, nurturing and promoting young talents; discovering and honoring young talents such as organizing or coordinating to organize competitions, contests, playgrounds to create an environment for young people to express their talents in order to discover and honor young talents in various sectors and fields.

Organize activities to foster and support young talents, coordinate with relevant agencies, units, and enterprises to organize training, coaching, camps, seminars, and forums to inspire and equip basic skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, promote scientific research, technology transfer, and digital transformation; strengthen the connection and development of young talents through updating, exploiting, and sharing databases on young talents on the Global Network of Vietnamese Young Talents and the National Young Talent Digital Park to connect with businesses, agencies, units, and localities in developing young talents.
