Applying digital transformation to production and consumption of products according to the value chain is an inevitable trend of the collective economic sector and cooperatives in Ha Tinh in the current period.

On the afternoon of October 17, the Ha Tinh Cooperative Alliance organized a forum with the content: "Collective economy (KTTT), cooperatives with production, product consumption according to value chains and digital transformation for rapid and sustainable development in the 4.0 era".

Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau and leaders of cooperative alliances from several northern and central provinces attended.

This is one of a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (October 29, 1993 - October 29, 2023) and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Alliance (October 19, 1993 - October 19, 2023).

Overview of the forum.

Ha Tinh currently has 1,040 cooperatives, 2,851 cooperative groups (THT) and 3 cooperative unions with more than 91,000 members, making an important contribution to completing the criteria for building new rural areas. Many units apply science and technology to production according to the value chain, linking production with market expansion, brand building, and improving product quality. Currently, there are 115 products of cooperatives and THTs achieving OCOP 3 - 4 stars, accounting for 42% of the total number of OCOP products in the province.

Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau attended the forum.

Implementing Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on focusing on leadership and direction of digital transformation in Ha Tinh province for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030, the Ha Tinh Cooperative Union has promoted the application of digital technology to its members and mass organizations in production and guided a number of cooperatives to promote trade and sales on digital platforms. In addition, it has supported the formation of a number of high-tech agricultural models; supported a number of cooperatives to invest in digital technology equipment in production, coordinated to bring products to e-commerce platforms, etc.

At the forum, delegates shared initial results and experiences of cooperatives in digital transformation, contributing to improving operational efficiency.

At the same time, delegates also frankly pointed out the shortcomings in this process such as: the number of cooperatives in Ha Tinh participating in digital transformation is still small and small-scale; production linkage is still loose, value chain linkage has only been implemented in some stages, so the creation of a chain from production to product consumption is still limited; investment resources for KTTT in digital transformation are not much; the quality of human resources serving digital transformation is still limited...

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung - Chairman of Ha Tinh Cooperative Union spoke at the forum.

The forum suggested solutions to deepen digital transformation in the market economy sector, such as: promoting propaganda, helping cooperatives grasp policies and guidelines on digital transformation; increasing the mobilization of resources to support the market economy sector in developing digital transformation; connecting cooperatives to participate in the global supply chain through digital transformation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong - Director of Cuong Nga Honey Cooperative (Huong Son): In addition to focusing on building product brands, the unit proactively applies digital transformation to promote and consume, bringing high efficiency .

At the same time, regularly support cooperatives in trade promotion, digital transformation on website platforms, Facebook, Zalo, e-commerce platforms; update data to build a common digital platform for all cooperatives to create a modern management system...
