According to Ukrainian forces, Kiev shot down 11 of the 12 cruise missiles and all 19 Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the recent Russian attack. The airstrike caused damage to a building in the port of Odessa.
In addition, Kiev also said that Russia also attacked with two anti-ship missiles.
Meanwhile, Mr. Roman Starovoit - Governor of Russia's Kursk province confirmed that Ukrainian UAVs attacked the city of Kursk, damaging several households and the roof of an administrative building, but there were no casualties.
Notably, Kursk province has experienced at least four UAV attacks in the past 24 hours alone.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that its air defense systems destroyed four UAVs deployed by Ukraine in the northwestern Black Sea region and on the Crimean peninsula.
