Alexander Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria group of the VSU, said that there would soon be “good” news from the Zaporizhzhia front, where the VSU counteroffensive is taking place in the Rabotino-Verbove area in the Orekhovsky direction.
On the evening of September 26, after information appeared about a significant attack by the VSU in the direction of the village of Verbove, the Russian side announced that the counterattack had been repelled.
According to Ukrainian sources, fighting is ongoing to the east and southeast of Verbove. Russian reserve units are also said to be moving into the area.
In addition, Mr. Vladimir Rogov, representative of the pro-Russian government council of Zaporizhzhia province, revealed that the VSU had begun an attack with a large number of armored vehicles and four companies in the early morning of September 27.

“More than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have chosen to live and have surrendered using the 149,200 Volga frequency,” the press service of the Russian emergency services said. “The prisoners are provided with the necessary food and medical care.”
The agency added that recently the number of VSU soldiers surrendering has been increasing, operating on the 149,200 Volga frequency in all directions of the Ukrainian front. Meanwhile, many VSU soldiers have also surrendered in the Rabotino area and the Svatovo-Kremennaya direction.
According to the latest information on September 27, Moscow accused the US and UK of helping Ukraine attack the headquarters of Russia's Black Sea Fleet in the Crimean peninsula last week.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed: “It is clear that the attack was planned in advance and used Western intelligence, NATO satellite equipment and reconnaissance aircraft.”
