Accordingly, the Prime Minister decided to amend and supplement the authority of the Head of the Steering Committee: Based on the needs and tasks during the operation, the Head of the Committee decides to change and supplement the members of the Steering Committee and establish working groups to assist.

The Prime Minister also decided that Comrade Bui Van Khang - Deputy Minister of Finance, Member of the Steering Committee, replace Comrade Cao Anh Tuan - Deputy Minister of Finance.

According to Decision No. 884, the State Steering Committee for important national projects and works, key to the transport sector, has the task of researching and proposing to the Government and the Prime Minister directions and solutions to solve important, inter-sectoral issues to speed up the progress of projects.

Direct, inspect and urge project investors, consulting organizations and contractors to perform the tasks identified in the investment policies of the projects or the approval decisions of each component project to ensure construction progress and quality of the works.

Assist the Government and the Prime Minister in directing the implementation of projects according to regulations. Direct relevant ministries, branches and localities to organize the implementation of plans to implement projects according to assigned functions and tasks.
