Creating sustainable value, MoMo receives ASOCIO ESG 2023 award

The award recognizes MoMo's impressive achievements in promoting environmental protection activities, solutions that bring positive impacts to society, and governance strategies that ensure sustainable values ​​for the economy.

The power of technology and community on MoMo: planting 35,750 trees, helping 325,000 people

ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) represents a set of standards used to assess the sustainability factors of businesses, specifically in driving innovation and creating meaningful impact on the environment and society.

Aware of environmental challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss, MoMo has actively participated in calling for donations and funding for environmental conservation and restoration projects, specifically planting 35,750 trees and expanding the forest area by 24.6 hectares.

With the desire to not leave anyone behind in society, from 2019 to October 2023, MoMo has created real value with about 250 billion VND donated by individuals and businesses from nearly 1,000 donation projects on the largest charity platform in Vietnam - MoMo Piggy Bank. The projects have supported 325,000 children, the elderly, and women in difficult circumstances to have a better life.

Solutions on MoMo: Economic tools and equal opportunities for everyone

With the goal of applying technology to help all Vietnamese people access simple and fair financial services, MoMo has developed and provided an investment, savings and spending management platform with a variety of services and utilities. By using products such as Postpaid Wallet, Fund Certificates, Online Savings,... users with low or unstable income such as workers, low-income workers and students have the opportunity to access financial solutions to improve their lives and have better personal financial plans.

Another positive impact that MoMo brings to society is clearly demonstrated in the provision of solutions to support small and medium-sized enterprises, popular shops, and small retailers. Solutions such as Mini App, Multi-function QR Code, and marketing and communication solutions such as Business Page and Voucher Distribution not only help improve competitiveness but also support better customer management and cash flow management.

One of the factors that helps MoMo have an effective management system is the vision of putting user security first. Thanks to heavy investment in AI, Deep Learning applications and the implementation of a fraud protection system, MoMo has succeeded in building a positive, healthy and sustainable digital economic environment in accordance with international cybersecurity laws.

Finally, the "G" in the ESG award is also a recognition of MoMo's efforts in investing in human resources, with a team of more than 2,000 employees.
