Kien Giang trains in Podcast production skills

The whole country has just gone through days of grief, sending off comrade Nguyen Phu Trong - General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam with infinite sorrow.

Before starting the training program, leaders of Kien Giang Newspaper, Kien Giang Radio and Television Station, Provincial Journalists Association and members, journalists and reporters observed a minute of silence to show respect, gratitude and memorialize comrade General Secretary and journalist Nguyen Phu Trong.

Journalist Doan Hong Phuc - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association delivered the opening speech of the training session.

The training course "Podcast production skills" had more than 50 participants who are members, reporters, and journalists working at press agencies in the province, the Center for Culture, Sports and Broadcasting of districts and cities in Kien Giang province.

In his opening speech, journalist Doan Hong Phuc - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Journalists Association said: "The training course on journalism contributes to improving professional qualifications, skills, and improving the quality of journalistic works according to the trend of modern journalism production. This is also the roadmap for digital transformation of journalism in Kien Giang province according to the policy of the Party and the State".

The lecturer directly imparting knowledge to journalists is MSc. Journalist Dao Thi Hong Linh - Editor of VOV Traffic Channel (Voice of Vietnam).

The training course not only provides basic knowledge and skills necessary for producing Podcast programs, but also creates opportunities for trainees to practice Podcasting, exchange experiences, thereby improving the quality of local press works.
