Nha Trang City People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the People's Committees of the communes and wards: Vinh Phuong, Phuoc Hai, Vinh Hiep, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Thai to develop a plan to inspect and handle administrative violations in cases of dumping, discharging wastewater, garbage, and debris on roads and residential areas under their management. At the same time, handle the situation of establishments and households operating in production and business activities arbitrarily installing pipes to discharge untreated production wastewater and domestic wastewater into the environment.

Communes and wards report the results to the City People's Committee, clearly stating the implementation plan; the number of facilities and units inspected; the surveyed canals and rivers; clearly stating the location and position of wastewater sources; proposed treatment solutions... The Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible before the City People's Committee and before the law if they loosen management, allowing people to regularly discharge domestic wastewater, throw garbage and debris in the wrong places.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to monitor, urge and promptly advise the City People's Committee on the implementation status of the units.
