Checking the implementation of removing temporary and dilapidated houses in Cam Lam district

On the morning of April 21, Mr. Dang Ngoc Minh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and members of the delegation supervising the implementation of the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, period 2024 - 2025, worked with the Steering Committee for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Cam Lam district on the results of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.

According to the report of Cam Lam District People's Committee, the whole district has 91 houses that are eligible to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 61 are newly built and 30 are repaired. The beneficiaries include 2 poor households, 39 near-poor households and 50 households in difficult circumstances. To date, the district has completed the repair of 27 houses, built 13 new houses; the remaining 51 houses are under construction and repair, expected to be completed before April 30. The funds for repairing and building new houses are being disbursed according to schedule.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Minh suggested that the locality continue to strive to complete the projects on schedule, ensuring the required quality; promote information and propaganda on the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; focus on the settlement of completed records; closely monitor the area, promptly report any difficulties and problems that arise to effectively carry out the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
