Checking the implementation status of Dong Dang-Tra Linh expressway project - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On the morning of April 10, a working delegation from Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces inspected the implementation of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) expressway construction investment project.

The working group inspected the project section through Van Lang district.

Participating in the delegation, on the side of Cao Bang province were comrades: Hoang Xuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Van Thach, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the side of Lang Son province, there were comrade Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of a number of agencies and units of the two provinces of Lang Son and Cao Bang, and investors.

During the program, the working delegation inspected the implementation of the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway Investment Project through Lang Son province (including Van Lang and Trang Dinh districts).

According to a quick report at the inspection, up to now, the progress of site clearance in Van Lang district has reached 88.3%, Trang Dinh district has reached 87.03%; technical infrastructure relocation of the two districts has reached 85%; housing relocation and land handover has reached 83%; 100% of waste disposal sites have been handed over. The construction units have mobilized more than 2,000 personnel, 985 machines and equipment, and deployed 70 construction teams across the entire project, with the value of implementation to date reaching more than VND 2,300 billion.

Besides the achieved results, the project implementation still has some shortcomings and problems related to the site, slow infrastructure relocation, and lack of dumping sites...

Speaking at the inspection, the leaders of the People's Committees of Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces acknowledged the efforts of Van Lang and Trang Dinh districts as well as related units in implementing site clearance and project implementation. However, in addition to the achieved results, the project implementation still has some problems that need to be resolved soon.

To overcome difficulties and speed up the project implementation in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of Van Lang and Trang Dinh districts and related agencies to continue propaganda and mobilization work for site clearance. Contractors relocating technical infrastructure need to increase machinery and human resources to speed up the progress of moving away from the project site.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review and agree with relevant agencies to develop a draft to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for early issuance of a decision on other support related to the project. At the same time, relevant departments, branches, and the People's Committees of Van Lang and Trang Dinh districts continue to fully implement the procedures for planning a dumping site for the project.
