Inspect and monitor the issuance of land use right certificates to ethnic minorities.

According to a report by the People's Committee of Chu Prong District, the district comprises 19 communes and 1 town, including 147 villages and residential areas. The district has over 32,580 households, of which ethnic minority households account for 48.71%. Implementing the National Target Program 1719, the district has developed a plan to support 846 houses for poor households. To date, housing support has been provided to 372 poor households in ethnic minority areas; land use right certificates have been issued to 37 households eligible for housing, housing, and production land support. Currently, the People's Committees of communes and towns are encouraging households to complete the necessary documents and procedures to apply for land use right certificates. The housing support project has helped poor households stabilize their lives, create opportunities to escape poverty, and significantly contribute to the local poverty reduction efforts.
Ms. Dinh Ly An, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of Gia Lai province, suggested that the locality supplement and finalize the report on the implementation of the National Target Program for economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. She also requested continued strengthening of coordination between units and localities that have implemented the issuance of land use right certificates to people. Furthermore, she suggested researching land resources to support housing and production land for poor ethnic minority households lacking production land, or to support vocational retraining.
