According to the report of the People's Committee of Chu Prong district, the whole district has 19 communes and 1 town, including 147 villages and residential groups. The whole district has more than 32,580 households, of which ethnic minority households account for 48.71%. Implementing the National Target Program 1719, the district has developed a plan to support 846 houses for poor households. Up to now, it has supported the construction of houses for 372 poor households in ethnic minority areas; granted land use right certificates to 37 households who are supported with residential land, houses, and production land. Currently, the People's Committees of communes and towns are mobilizing households to complete documents and procedures to request land use right certificates. The housing support project has helped poor households stabilize their lives, have conditions to escape poverty and make an important contribution to the local poverty reduction work.

Ms. Dinh Ly An, Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Gia Lai province, suggested that the locality supplement and complete the report on the implementation of the National Target Program on economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Continue to strengthen coordination between units and localities that have implemented the work of granting land use right certificates to people. Research land funds to support residential land and production land for poor ethnic minority households lacking production land or support career conversion.
