(Dan Tri) - Recently, the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City inspected and discovered 7 additional teaching and learning facilities that did not have the correct licenses.
The most recent inspection by the inspection team of the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City took place unexpectedly on the evening of December 20 at a number of locations believed to be organizing extra teaching and learning in the area.

At a location near Ngo Quyen Primary School in Binh Tan District, the inspection team recorded a teacher at this school keeping a group of students at home after school hours waiting for their parents to pick them up. The inspection team requested that this teacher not organize after-school childcare at home in violation of regulations.
Another location of a teacher at Vinh Loc High School organizing extra classes and renting out extra teaching rooms.
Here, this teacher organizes 3 extra classes with about 50 students, including regular students at the school. In addition, some other teachers of the school teach here, including regular students.
The inspection team noted that this location had a license to establish an education company and had fire extinguishers, but at the time of inspection, the company's sign was not posted at the registered address and there was no plan to ensure fire prevention and fighting safety according to regulations.
It is known that recently, the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward inspected and discovered 7 additional tutoring facilities in the area operating without proper licenses.
The Ward People's Committee has drawn up a record of inspection, reminded and requested these establishments to stop operating, close down and remove their signs.
Ward leaders also coordinate with ward police to monitor, remind and request establishments operating without a license to close.
Assign unlicensed tutoring and learning facilities to the neighborhood for monitoring, supervision and timely reporting if these facilities deliberately do not comply with the closure order.
The ward also requested the police to coordinate in inspecting fire prevention and fighting work at all additional teaching facilities in the area.
Central district of Ho Chi Minh City strictly prohibits teachers from giving extra lessons against regulations.
According to a document recently issued on strengthening the management of teaching staff in the area, the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City strictly prohibits teachers from giving extra classes in violation of regulations under Circular No. 17 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In particular, regulations stipulate cases where extra teaching is not allowed, including extra teaching for students who have been organized by the school to study 2 sessions/day; extra teaching for primary school students, except for cases of training in arts, sports, and life skills training.
The principal is directly responsible for the management of extra teaching and learning by teachers at the school.
