- On April 15, a working delegation of the People's Committee of Lang Son city led by Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of the city, inspected the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in wards and communes.
According to the review results, up to now, the whole city still has 19 temporary and dilapidated houses that need to be rebuilt or repaired.
During the program, the working group inspected each household to assess housing and land conditions, identify beneficiaries and support subjects according to regulations.
Through on-site inspections at households, the Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized: The work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is an important task, contributing to improving people's lives, achieving the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security. He requested the City Fatherland Front Committee, specialized departments and offices, and People's Committees of communes and wards to continue to pay attention to reviewing, allocating funds and actively calling for and mobilizing social resources to support the construction and repair of houses for households in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, it is necessary to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the community through mobilizing people, police forces, army, cadres, and members of organizations to contribute working days and materials, contributing to speeding up the completion of housing projects, striving to complete before May 30, 2025, ensuring that households soon stabilize their lives and settle down.
During the program, the delegation presented 60 million VND to support the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses for each household; Lang Son Production and Trade Joint Stock Company presented 50 million VND to build a new house for the family of Ms. Hai Thi Ty, Dong Kinh ward, Lang Son city.
