Inspecting the work of removing temporary and dilapidated houses in Bac Yen district

Inspection Team No. 11 of the Provincial Steering Committee for Temporary Housing Elimination inspected Bac Yen district.

Up to now, Bac Yen district has 14/16 communes and towns with temporary and dilapidated houses; there are 2 communes without temporary and dilapidated houses, namely Phieng Con and Phieng Ban . The total number of households eligible for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district is 161, of which 153 are poor households and 8 are near-poor households. Bac Yen district has built 130 houses, and 31 are under construction. It is expected that by April 20, Bac Yen will complete the temporary house elimination program.

After inspecting Muong Khoa and Song Pe communes and Bac Yen town, the working group requested the district Party Committee and government to continue to pay attention and allocate resources to speed up construction progress; regularly inspect and ensure the quality of the works. At the same time, pay attention to implementing social security policies to help poor and near-poor households stabilize their lives.
