Mr. Phan Dinh Trac spoke at the conference.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thanh Hai announced the decision to establish an inspection team; the plan and time of inspection at the Party Personnel Committee of the Government Inspectorate.

The Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate reported the results of self-inspection of internal political protection work of party organizations in the past period.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac said that the inspection of internal political protection work at the Party Personnel Committee of the Government Inspectorate is an activity in the 2023 work program of the Central Internal Political Protection Subcommittee.

Emphasizing the particularly important role of internal political protection work, Mr. Trac said that the inspection work aims to evaluate the achieved results, limitations, shortcomings, advantages, difficulties, objective and subjective causes in leadership, direction and implementation organization at Party committees and organizations directly under the Central Committee.

"Through inspection, we will continue to guide and better implement the contents of internal political protection work at localities, agencies and central organizations in the coming time," said Mr. Trac.

In February 2022, the Politburo issued Regulation 58 on a number of issues of internal political protection of the Party, replacing the previous Regulation 126 with many new points. It added regulations on the limit of arrangement for cadres and Party members with complicated political issues. Accordingly, these cases are arranged at the highest level up to members of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee and equivalent.

Regulation 58 adds that in the case of cadres and party members who are children of martyrs or 1/4 war invalids, but whose parents or direct foster parents of their spouses violate the law by working for the old regime, they can be assigned to the position of member of the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee or equivalent.

Regulation 58 also supplements regulations, policies on arrangement, use and the level of arrangement and use for cadres and party members who violate or have complicated problems due to direct family relationships (on their own side) one level lower than indirect cases (on the side of the wife or husband).

In addition, Regulation 58 also clearly stipulates that in cases where there are problems related to the individual and family relationships (focusing on current political issues), based on the level of the political problem; reputation, qualities, capacity, efforts, and contributions of the individual, the competent Party Committee will consider and arrange them appropriately.
