Stimulate tourism with Vietnam Golf Festival

NDO - On the afternoon of November 6, in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province and Global Entertainment Star Company to hold a press conference to announce the Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024 program with the theme "100 years of Vietnamese Golf" with the sponsorship of Nam A Bank, the professional support of the Vietnam Golf Association and Vietnam Golf Events Joint Stock Company (VG Events).

The event aims to honor the more than 100-year development history of golf in Vietnam, thereby contributing to stimulating the development of Vietnam tourism in general and Khanh Hoa tourism in particular.

Accordingly, the festival will take place for 3 days, from November 27 to November 29 in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of hundreds of golfers from all over the country and unique and lively activities, bringing endless excitement to golfers as well as golf fans.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Van, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of operating the Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, the Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024 wishes to contribute to preserving and promoting the historical, cultural, economic and social values ​​of golf in the golf community in particular and in the development and integration process of the whole country in general; making golf more popular and closer to Vietnamese people in the period of strong integration.

The event will contribute to stimulating local tourism through integrated activities, promoting the history, culture, land and people where the program takes place; creating a festival with the value of connecting golf lovers as well as golf tourism to Vietnam.

In particular, the festival also contributes to bringing humanistic values ​​through contributing funds to organize the program "Lighting up faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" initiated and organized by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper from 2023 to present.

In addition, aiming at the digital transformation trend that is taking place strongly in the banking sector as well as cashless payment transactions that are increasingly popular with the public, the Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024 with the companionship of Nam A Bank will also be a cashless festival.

According to the festival organizing committee, all activities related to the festival do not use cash payment methods. All booths displaying and selling golf products, souvenirs, F&B... only accept cashless payments. All booths are equipped with QR codes to facilitate people to come and have fun and experience without having to worry about carrying cash on them.

Attending the press conference, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tang Huu Phong believes that the Vietnam - Nha Trang Golf Festival 2024 will create more impressions in social life, continuing to receive the support of units. He hopes that the festival and awards will be held annually, attracting more and more golfers to compete and make many contributions to society.

Besides, the event will also help Khanh Hoa province attract more tourists to the locality during the festival, contributing to the development of golf tourism in Khanh Hoa province.
